Kyrie Irving led the charge for the Mavericks with 22 points, showcasing his skills with a crucial running left-hander in the final minute of the game.

Luka Doncic also made a significant impact, contributing 22 points and an impressive 15 rebounds. P.J. Washington added 27 points to the Mavericks' tally, falling just two points short of his playoff high from the previous game.

Despite Shai Gilgeous-Alexander's stellar performance with 31 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 blocks for the Thunder, a critical charge call against him in the final seconds hindered Oklahoma City's chances of a comeback.

Oklahoma City, who started the playoffs with a 5-0 record, has now suffered consecutive losses to the Mavericks. The two teams are set to face off again in Game 4 on Monday night in Dallas.

Irving bounced back from a low-scoring game to deliver 14 points in the second half, including a crucial six-point streak in the fourth quarter that extended the Mavericks' lead. Reflecting on the game, Irving emphasized the importance of defensive efforts against the Thunder's young team.

Doncic, who played through injuries, displayed resilience and determination throughout the game. Despite a hard fall in the final minutes, Doncic continued to lead the Mavericks, securing a crucial loose ball that helped maintain Dallas' lead.

Rookie center Dereck Lively II played a pivotal role for the Mavericks, contributing 12 points and eight rebounds, including key free throws down the stretch. The Thunder's Isaiah Joe and Chet Holmgren also made notable contributions, with Joe scoring 13 points and Holmgren finishing with 13 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 blocks.

The game was not without its share of injuries, with players from both teams facing setbacks. Mavericks' center Daniel Gafford and Thunder's Jalen Williams both endured injuries during the game but displayed resilience by returning to the court to finish the game.

With an intense matchup and standout performances from key players, the Dallas Mavericks secured a crucial victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder, setting the stage for an exciting Game 4 in the Western Conference semifinals.
