Love Island's Ekin-Su thanks fans for their support as Davide pictured partying in Ibiza

Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu has broken her online silence after her ex Davide Sanclimenti was pictured appearing to snort a substance on a holiday in Ibiza.

The Turkish actress has been enjoying "some much needed time with family" over recent days and thanked fans for their support over the last two weeks.

In a statement shared to her Instagram Stories this evening, Ekin-Su said: "Hi everyone, I thought it was time to come back online to thank you so much for all of your messages over the past two weeks.

"It has shown me what a kind, supportive, strong community I have behind me. I took some much needed time away with my family which has been really special but now it's time to realign and get back to work."

The reality TV star added: "I have such an exciting year ahead and I want to fully focus on that. I really appreciate your ongoing support. Thanks for cheering me on.

Love Island winners Davide and Ekin-Su shocked fans when the Italian hunk announced their split last week, after they won the hearts of viewers in last year's series.

Nearly a year after they were crowned winners of the £50,000 prize, Davide took to social media where he announced they were "no longer together" and added that he wished his former partner "nothing but the best".

Davide quickly jetted off to the sunny party island for a boys trip with former contestant Josh Le Grove. Whilst on the trip the reality TV star was filmed pouring a substance on his hand before inhaling it through one nostril.

A partygoer in the nightclub filmed the Italian businessman, just three days after he announced his break-up with Ekin-Su. The clip was said to have been taken in the Secret Garden area of the Hï Ibiza nightclub.

It comes after The Sun reported from a source at the nightclub: "Davide looked shifty as he . . . took a hit of this powder off his hand. He didn’t talk much and seemed very focused on this powder.

"He said he was ‘struggling’ with his break with Ekin-Su but he didn’t seem too heartbroken or cut up about it.

"He was more interested in partying.”

The Mirror reached out to Davide's representatives for comment. A representative for the star told The Sun the substance seen in the video "was snuff".

On the same trip, Davide was spotted with a man who was holding a bag that appeared to contain a white powder at Ibiza club Ushuaia. There is no suggestion that Davide has been involved in any illegal activity.

Davide’s spokesman said: “Davide is in no way associated with the people in this picture. He was asked for a picture from a fan in the establishment which he agreed to as he always does. Anything they were doing is nothing to do with him.”

Some 48 hours after the nightclub snap, Davide was photographed partying with a group of girls in bikinis on a rented yacht on the Balearic Sea.

Confirming the break-up on social media on Thursday [June 29], Davide posted on Instagram : "Ekin-Su and I are no longer together.

"I am grateful for the memories and opportunities we shared together and I wish her nothing but the best. I would like for everybody to respect this decision during this difficult time. I will continue to support Ekin in any way possible."

Davide soon took to social media again to set the record straight regarding rumours he could be making a second appearance on the ITV2. He penned: "I genuinely don’t understand how some people can twist my old pictures from Ibiza, creating this fake narrative that I could be going back to Love Island."

He added: "Posting publicly about the break-up was extremely difficult yet necessary, despite the urge to keep it private." He also said their relationship had been “on the rocks for months".

"Parting ways has been a long time coming, I ultimately decided to go ahead with it rather than keep on dragging the situation that became unhealthy for both of us."
