Lorraine Kelly bans Kim Kardashian from Tannadice so Dundee United avoid 'curse'

Lorraine Kelly has issued a cheeky dig at Kim Kardashian after her 'football curse' has hit the headlines.

The American reality star, 42, was spotted with her son, Saint West, at Emirates Stadium for the Europa League match between Arsenal and Sporting CP. Football fan Saint wore a Katie McCabe jersey during the match and cheered for Bukayo Saka.

Mother-of-four Kim was also photographed at the Parc des Princes in Paris watching the match between PSG and Rennes. Fans on social media soon noticed that the 'Kardashian curse' had hit European football as both Arsenal and PSG lost their games when Kim was in attendance.

Discussing the curse on her ITV chat show, Lorraine was joined by Ross King as she declared Kim was banned from Tannadice - the home of Dundee United.

Appearing from LA, Ross said: "She went out to Paris to see PSG, she went to see their game and was getting to meet Mbappé and all the stars of that lot and they lost two - nil. So there it is."

He added: "It's the simple thing. It's the curse of Kim Kardashian when it comes to world football."

"Oh dear. I won't be inviting her to Tannadice to have her pie cut in half on a plate, because that's as good as it gets," Lorraine quipped.

The Scots presenter confidently declared: "She's no coming! That's it Kim, I know you want too but you're not coming."

This comes after Lorraine lost her voice and hilariously asked Dr Hilary to step in for her.

Good Morning Britain hosts Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway spoke to her in the crossover from their ITV show, as Lorraine joked if her colleague could take over whilst holding up cards with words written on them, explaining she lost her voice and couldn't speak.

Dr Hilary was forced to step in and give us a roundup of what was coming on the show, with many expecting her not to be able to present. When her show began, Lorraine powered through, but it was clear her voice was very hoarse, as she joked she would be "going home to guzzle a bottle of whiskey" after she comes off-air.

Lorraine airs weekdays at 9am on STV.
