Leeds United transfer rumours with Rasmus Kristensen tipped to follow Diego Llorente to AS Roma

A look at the latest Leeds United transfer rumours on Sunday, 9 July.

Rasmus Kristensen set to follow Diego Llorente to AS Roma

Football Insider claims Rasmus Kristensen is set to follow Diego Llorente to AS Roma after the Spaniard's move was confirmed yesterday afternoon. The Danish defender appeared happy to stay at Elland Road after their relegation from the Premier League, but is now reportedly set to sign on loan for Jose Mourinho's side.

Llorente has re-joined Roma on a loan deal until the end of the season after both clubs agreed fresh terms. The centre-half made 12 appearances at the Stadio Olimpico and the Danish right-back could follow suit.

The report claims Leeds will sign 'at least six stars, and potentially more, with a new goalkeeper, centre-back, left-back, right-back, winger and striker among their top targets.'

Amad Diallo set to feature heavily for Manchester United

Leeds United 'target' Amad Diallo is set to feature heavily for Manchester United this summer in pre-season as Erik Ten Hag looks to cast his eye over the young forward, according to Manchester Evening News. The Ivorian impressed during a loan spell with Sunderland last season and was one of the standout performers in the Championship.

The Whites are among a number of sides keen on a loan move for the 20-year-old, but his short-term future at Old Trafford remains unclear. Diallo has made just nine appearances for Manchester United's senior team since joining from Atalanta in 2020 but will be handed an opportunity to impress this summer.

The Red Devils are said to be open to offers for Anthony Elanga for £10million and would listen for offers for Anthony Martial and Donny van de Beek, while also growing impatient with Jadon Sancho, which would open the door for Diallo to be given more game time. A move to Leeds could come at the 11th hour in the window, but Southampton, Sunderland, Everton and Feyenoord have all been linked with a loan move.
