Ireland AM star Muireann O'Connell 'might need a bowl cut' to get rid of split ends

Ireland AM’s Muireann O'Connell has said she might have to get a bowl cut to sort out her damaged hair.

The television presenter arrived at the Virgin Media show with straightened hair that showed all her split ends, and even her own mam was appalled by her look.

Muireann shared the text she received from her, which read: “If you are going to the hairdresser, get your hair cut evenly all around.”

“So, the reason I’ve left it straight with all the split ends on the show is because I need @normajeanhair to see all the heat damage I’ve done,” she added. Norma-Jean is a stylist and the artistic director of The Room hair salon.

Muireann continued: “It’s bad. All my own fault. Just started using the Loreal Pro steampod and can see that it’s much better for the hair. I’ll probably have to come away with a bowl cut to sort it all out.”

Then she wrote cheekily: “Who cares, says you!”
