How to watch Manchester United vs Brentford - TV channel, live stream and early team news

Manchester United are set for the final home game of their Premier League season when they welcome Brentford to Old Trafford on Monday night (8pm). That early swansong comes after the Chelsea match was hastily rearranged due to their FA Cup final commitments later this month.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 23rd goal of the season against the Blues as United staged an instant fight-back after Marcos Alonso had put Chelsea in front. United were second best for most of the 90 minutes, though, as they gear up to return to Old Trafford for the conclusion of another Premier League matchday.

United were missing SEVEN players last time out but, thankfully, Ralf Rangnick was able to deliver some promising news on that front during his pre-match press conference. Here are the important TV details you need to know for the impending Monday night showdown.

Sky Sports have won coverage for this Monday night match and it will be shown on the Main Event and Premier League channels. This follows on from more high-octane action from the top-flight on Saturday and Sunday as all key matters have yet to be decided - apart from Norwich having their relegation fate sealed.

Coverage starts at 7pm on the Premier League channel and 30 minutes later on Main Event. Both programmes are set to continue until 11pm with high-profile guests in the studio.

What is the early Man United vs Brentford team news?

Fred and Edinson Cavani are set to return to matchday contention in a double boost to United and that eases the injury crisis somewhat. However, interim manager Rangnick could still be without five senior players.

Soon-to-be free agent Paul Pogba (calf) and Jadon Sancho (illness) are among those who may not play again this season. The same can be said for £80million captain Harry Maguire (knee).

Aaron Wan-Bissaka (knock) is edging closer to fitness, while no expected return date has been set for England star Luke Shaw (leg). Brentford will be without Frank Onyeka (foot) and Mathias Jorgensen (groin) for the remainder of this campaign as they await updates on other players for their first ever Premier League trip to Old Trafford.

Christian Norgaard (leg) and Ethan Pinnock (thigh) are among those who fit into that bracket, but Saman Ghoddos (ankle) is not not available for the Bees.
