Hezbollah Launches Over 60 Rockets At Northern Israel Targets

Rockets are launched from the Gaza Strip into Israel as seen from Ashkelon

Hezbollah, the Lebanese militant group, has recently launched a significant number of rockets at various targets in northern Israel. This action was declared as a response to what Hezbollah referred to as the Israeli enemy's attacks on the Bekaa region of Lebanon the previous night.

Hezbollah claimed responsibility for firing over 60 Katyusha rockets targeting specific locations, including the leadership of the IDF's Golan 210 division in Nafah, the air defense barracks in Keila, and the northern region support artillery in Yoav.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed that around 40 launches were detected originating from Lebanon towards the Golan Heights. The IDF's Aerial Defense Array successfully intercepted several of these launches, preventing any reported injuries. The IDF promptly retaliated by striking the sources of fire.

Furthermore, the IDF reported five launches from Lebanese territory towards the area of Zarit, with no injuries reported. Israeli fighter jets were deployed to target one of the military posts responsible for the launches. Additionally, the IDF conducted strikes on two other Hezbollah military structures in response to the attacks.
