Emmerdale fans slam Dan for tearing into Amelia as he faces years in prison

Emmerdale viewers have hit out at Dan after he blew up at daughter Amelia in the latest episodes.

Dan is facing a charge of Grievous Bodily Harm after he attacked Lloyd, that could see him face years in prison. He tried to drink the pain away, and was eventually taken home very drunk by David.

Dan and Amelia argued after she got upset he hid he charge from her. He ends up blaming the charge on Amelia's use of social media, where she was unknowingly talking to Lloyd pretending to be a woman.

Lloyd stalked Amelia, and was eventually confronted by Dan. When Lloyd goaded him, Dan punched him in the face, and Lloyd ended up in hospital after hitting his head on a rock.

Claire tweeted: "No way there's folk that think Dan is right. That's dangerously close to saying "you shouldn't have gone out wearing that then!" #emmerdale."

Similarly, Liam Mellor said: "That was uncalled for. #Emmerdale."
