Chris Pratt Mourns Death Of Former Stunt Double, Tony Mcfarr

Chris Pratt

Actor Chris Pratt is currently mourning the loss of his former stunt double, Tony McFarr, who tragically passed away at the age of 47 at his home outside of Orlando, Florida. McFarr had worked closely with Pratt on several movie projects, including Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, two Jurassic World films, and Passengers.

Expressing his grief on social media, Pratt shared heartfelt memories of his time spent with McFarr, highlighting his professionalism and toughness. The actor recalled a particular incident during the filming of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 where McFarr sustained a head injury but showed remarkable resilience by returning to work promptly.

McFarr's mother, Donna, revealed that her son's death came as a shock, and the exact circumstances surrounding his passing remain unknown. Apart from his collaborations with Pratt, McFarr's impressive stunt credits include popular movies like Ant-Man and the Wasp, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, and Captain America: Civil War.

In a recent interview, Pratt also shared insights into his parenting experiences, noting the differences in raising his son, Jack, from his previous marriage with Anna Faris, and his daughters with his current wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger. The actor humorously remarked on the emotional nature of his daughters, describing how they have him 'wrapped around their finger.'
