During a recent hearing, Chairman Jim Jordan questioned Robert Hur regarding the White House lawyers' search for classified documents. The lawyers had visited the Penn-Biden Center to gather information on potential evidence and materials. Hur confirmed that the initial visit in March 2021 was to the Penn Biden Center's permanent location.

It was revealed that classified information was spread across various locations associated with President Biden, including the transition office, temporary and permanent Penn Biden Center offices, University of Delaware library, Biden Center, and multiple places in his home.

Chairman Jordan highlighted the contrast with former President Trump, noting that Biden's documents were found in numerous locations over a 50-year timeframe, while Trump's classified documents were primarily at his home under Secret Service protection.

The discussion emphasized the importance of understanding the distribution of classified information and the need for transparency in handling such materials. The hearing shed light on the complexities of managing sensitive documents within government offices and personal residences.
