Bulwell crash leads to bus diversions

Buses have been forced to divert in an area of Nottingham after a crash. Nottingham City Transport (NCT) said a number of its services were rerouted after an incident near Bulwell Riverside.

Photos on social media show appear to show a car and a bus were involved in a collision, with police present at the scene. NCT, the city's biggest bus provider, tweeted about the incident at 8.12pm.

It said buses on its Orange, Yellow and Turqoise routes had been affected by the crash. NCT wrote: "There has been an incident near to Bulwell Riverside.

"Orange 35, Yellow 68-71 and Turquoise 79 are diverting via Sellers Wood, Hoewood and Ravensworth to/from Bulwell Bus Station and Coventry Road."
