Regina is EXPERIENCED and has dedicated her entire professional career to public service in local and federal government, and now nonprofit management. She is the only candidate who has experience working for the City of Winston-Salem and knows how City Council decisions affect city employees.
  • Regina is ENGAGED in the Winston-Salem community and has served on several boards and participated in several groups and organizations throughout both the Northwest Ward and the City of Winston-Salem. Regina has served as President of her HOA, Co-Chair of her Neighborhood Watch Group, and Chaired Insight Human Services (formerly partnership for a DrugFree NC), Crossnore Community Charter School Board of Directors, WFU Face to Face Speaker Series, Ambassador for Greater Winston-Salem, Inc. (formerly the Chamber of Commerce), Senior Services of Forsyth Co. Support Corporation Board of Directors, and the YMCA of Northwest North Carolina.
  • Regina is ENDORSED by former Mayor Martha Wood. Mayor Wood served as Mayor of Winston-Salem from 1989-1997. Before being elected as Mayor of Winston-Salem, she served as the Alderman (Council Member) of the Northwest Ward. Regina also has a wide range of support from members of the community including former teachers, schoolmates, and colleagues whom she has worked with throughout the years.”

Hodson:

  • “Ensuring Community Safety and Police Partnership Jimmy Hodson’s foremost goal is the safety and security of our Winston-Salem citizens. He will support our police department, collaborating to reduce crime and maintain a secure environment for our families and businesses.
  • Economic Growth through Business Collaboration Jimmy is fervent about fostering economic prosperity. He is dedicated to working hand in hand with both large and small local businesses, aiding them in expanding their operations, safeguarding their interests, and helping them to thrive within Winston-Salem’s vibrant economic landscape.
  • Listening and Responding to Your Needs A hallmark of Jimmy Hodson’s leadership is his unwavering commitment to listening. He values your opinions and concerns and will be an engaged and responsive representative who genuinely hears and addresses your voices. Moreover, Jimmy believes that listening is the soil that grows innovation and ideas that can elevate our city and enhance the quality of life within our community.
