Aldi launching new summer garden Specialbuys including pool, waterslide and more

Aldi shoppers will soon be able to get their hands on a range of garden activities to keep the kids entertained over the summer holidays.

The supermarket is introducing a selection of outdoor toys into stores as part of its latest Specialbuys drop on Sunday, July 9, from games and sporting accessories for little ones to pools, water slides and water blasters to help keep families cool in the sunshine. Aldi Specialbuys are now only available in stores, so you will need to head to your nearest branch if you're hoping to grab any of the new items this weekend.

Among the new outdoor activities range is the Summer Waves 10ft Quick Up Pool, suitable for ages six and above, which has a price tag of £39.99 and takes just 10 minutes to put up according to Aldi. Or for a cheaper alternative, the Crane Jumbo Pool will also be available in stores on Sunday for £16.99.

Another addition to the Specialbuys aisle sure to be a big hitter with shoppers is the Crane Triple Waterslide for £19.99, which comes equipped with sprinklers for a fun way to cool off in the sun. You can also pick up Swimming Noodles for £2.99 each, Crane Swimming Sinkies for £4.99 and Speedo Swimming Goggles for £4.99.

It's not just water-based fun that can be bought in the Aldi Specialbuys aisle this weekend - the new range includes toys ideal for the garden, including the Palplay Folding Slide for £29.99, a Wooden Ring Toss for £7.99, and Wooden Skittles for £7.99. You can also keep the little ones active with an assortment of toys for £9.99, or a Children's Zoomee bike for £16.99.

Other items landing in the Specialbuys aisle this weekend include play mats, puzzles, kites and footballs. While Aldi has now stopped selling Specialbuys online, the supermarket currently has a clearance section running on its website where the last of its stock is currently going at reduced prices - you can browse the remaining clearance items here.

Aldi isn't the only supermarket offering a range of outdoor games and toys just in time for the summer holidays. Sainsbury's currently has a selection including bubble machines, flying discs and ball catching sets, while Asda's summer range includes a number of paddling pool options with prices starting from £9.
