There was an extraordinary ending for the buyers on today's A Place in the Sun.
Expert Jean Johansson was joined by couple Katrina and Colin, who were on the lookout for a home on the stunning island of Sardinia. The buyers wanted to find a two bedroom holiday home in the Italian town of Olbia - and had a budget of £135,000.
But the property expert found a problem with the budget straight away, as she pointed out that the area is a "millionaire's playground" and attracts Hollywood stars such as Tom Hanks, Beyoncé and the Kardashians. She told the couple: "I can tell you this island is expensive and this search is going to be a challenge."

She warned that two-bedroom homes in the area can sell for more than £1 million, but luckily there were more affordable homes too. Jean managed to find five stunning properties within Katrina and Colin's budget, despite the challenge.
During the search, they were left underwhelmed by a few of the properties with only one contender. But then Jean managed to pull an extraordinary property out of her bag on the final viewing.
It was a two-bedroom apartment in Cugnana Verde, with a large terrace space and amazing sea views. It was on the market for £127,273.
The couple were speechless as they walked into the living area of the apartment, taking in the glorious view from the balcony. Jean was evidently pleased with herself, as she said: "Now that is a grand finale!"
Colin was in awe, as he said: "That is just amazing, that is unbelievable. I don't know what to say." Jean agreed as she added: "I am not sure you get this many places in Europe like this. It is pretty spectacular."
The next morning Katrina and Colin decided to put an offer in on the third property - A Marinella Complex Apartment. This was due to its proximity to the beach.
They put in a bid of just over £127,000 with Jean saying that if this was accepted it would be the "bargain of the century". After a couple of days of waiting for the owner to reply to their bid, Katrina and Colin were successful and managed to secure the property.
